The Story :
Lowly Jew Brian Cohen becomes the Messiah! Well, not really. This is Monty Python after all, and the fact that this has been consistently voted the funniest film of all time says all there is to say.
The Facts :
Dreamstuff were honoured to be given the rights to perform the Life of Brian by Python Films, becoming the first theatre group to stage Monty Python in Ireland.
Our production omitted some scenes from the movie, such as Brian being taken up by the alien ship. However, we did add scenes that were cut from the final film such as the shepherds at the beginning and Otto the Nazirene with his suicide squad.
The Dreamstuff production also featured way more swears than the film version. That’s what happens when you give a bunch of teenagers leeway to curse.
Memorable Scene :
Too many to choose! Shall we say…. the crucifixion sing along at the end to ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’?
