Young Irish Film Makers

Young Irish Film Makers had two wins this year at the Fresh Film Festival. Aisha Baraut won 2nd prize for her film Transparent and Alan Doyle won Best Comedy for Unarmed. The over all winner was Nick Sheridan from Wexford and Rory Reily, an ex-student of YIFM won best individual film maker.

Caffeine – the 24 hour film festival a wrapped up on Saturday last. Teams produced their films in 24 hours based on 3 random objects outlined by YIFM.

The 3 objects were:  

• A Key
• A Trap
• A Light

I personally hope that all that took part this year enjoyed themselfs and hoepfully we will see you back next year?!. Thanks to all who enteried this year, the standard of the films were outstanding.

The Suitors Premiere is taking place on Monday 23rd March at 8 ‘o clock in Langtons. Last years finished feature film be screened to cast and crew as well as invited guests. It will be shown along with a short film “Attic”.
